Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League announced the seventh set of their weekly minor midget rankings for the 2010 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for the OHL Cup, hosted by the GTHL.  The weekly rankings are determined by a panel of OHL Central Scouting staff and represent the top teams that are competing to play in the annual year-end championship tournament.

The top nine teams all stay the exact same this week. Only the Clarington Toros who were tenth last week have dropped out of the rankings. The Ottawa Jr 67′s are the team that climb into the rankings this week.

First overall pick Daniel Catenacci of the Sault Ste. First round selections Boone Jenner (Oshawa Generals) of the Chiefs and Ryan Strome (Barrie Colts) of the Marlboros finished tied for second in tournament scoring with 11 points in seven games. Second and third overall picks Alan Quine (Kingston Frontenacs) and Ryan Murphy (Kitchener Rangers) also competed at the event last season with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens and York Simcoe Express respectively.
