Team Canada Announces Roster for WJC  | read this item

Team Canada named their roster for the World Junior Hockey Championship earlier today. There were no big surprises and I’ll have more on the roster in a little bit but here it is.

Six players hail from the QMJHL lead by returnee Patrice Cormier and teammate Jordan Caron. Seven players are from the OHL including four from the Windsor Spitfires. Eight are from the WHL including returnees Colten Teubert and Jordan Eberle from the Regina Pats. The final player is Pietrangelo, who’s on loan from the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.
