From Goat to Alternate

Barrie Colts’ captain Stefan Della Rovere was on the bubble when he went to Canada’s World Junior selection camp. He was frequently benched during last year’s world juniors due to undisciplined play. He was on a mission this year to prove that he can control his emotions and be an effective player for team Canada. He was rewarded with a spot on the roster again this year and more recently honoured with an “A”. He will be counted on to be a leader and an energy player without crossing that line that he so often crossed last Christmas.
