Taylor Hall currently sits one point up on rival Tyler Seguin for the OHL scoring race. If Hall, who has 106 points in 57 games, wins the scoring title he would be the first Spitfire since Peter Sarno to lead the league in scoring. Sarno scored 33 goals and 121 points in 64 games for the Spitfires back in ‘97-’98.
Earl Reibel and Bert Giesebrecht are the only other two Spitfires to ever lead the league in scoring. They did it in back-to-back years back in ‘48-’49 and ‘49-’50.
