Kingston Frontenacs’, forward, Nathan Moon was awarded the CHL Player of the Week as well as OHL Player of the Week for his play this past week.

The 20-year-old native of Belleville Ontario had nine points over three games which led all CHL scorers. Moon is in his fifth season with the Frontenacs and has averaged over a point-per-game in each of his last three seasons.

A big reason for his point totals his willingness to go to the dirty areas to score as seen in this picture. The Pittsburgh Penguins liked his game playing style enough to select him in the fourth-round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
