QMJHL Power Rankings

Unlike in the WHL the Q has some stability amongst the top ranked teams and for the first time this season there’s no change in the top three.

The MAINEiacs have suddenly run cold and went 1-3 last week. Their struggles continue so far this week as they lost to the lowly Drakkar last night. That loss will be reflected in next week’s rankings

The Olympiques’ hot streak has ended after failing to win their last two games last week. But, they are still 7-3 in their last 10 games.

Chicoutimi is making a push for some .500 hockey after winning all three games last week. They’re doing it in convincing fashion averaging seven goals for per game last week.

Dare we say that the Drakkar are on a role? After failing to win a game in months the Drakkar have suddenly won games in each of the past two weeks. And they won again last night which isn’t included in this rankings. Hey, we know it’s not much but baby steps.
