Our second goalie feature  in less than a month, Franky Palazzese is a 2011 NHL draft eligible goalie playing for the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL.

Coming into the season as Memorial Cup champion Philipp Grubauer’s back-up, Palazzese has been given his chance to carry the ball lately as Grubauer’s been out with mono.

In his previous seven games, Palazzese is 4-2-1 helping Kingston cling to the 5th overall spot in the Eastern Conference.  His latest was an absolute gem, making 44 saves through overtime and two of three in the shootout, leading his team over the Oshawa Generals 3-2.

Brandon Sudeyko comes through with another gem of an interview and speaks to Palazzese on a variety of topics.

They range from playing in his earlier years with current OHL stars, his save of the year candidate, defenseman Ben Fanelli of the Kitchener Rangers, the emergence of Twitter in the OHL, and the importance of music in his career.

Have a listen.  I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
