Majors Beat Up on Bulls

The top seeded Mississauga St. Micheal’s Majors wanted to make a statement in their first game of the playoffs. Two fights and a big 4-1 victory did just that. Majors’ Cory Bureau and Bull’s Brett Mackie wasted little time in their first tilt of the post-season. The puck had barley hit the ice when these two dropped the gloves in a highly spirited bout that saw the decision go to Bureau. The MasterCard Memorial Cup hosts out-shot the Bulls 27-18. Game two of the series goes Saturday night in Belleville.
